I got my Bachelor’s in Photography up in the mountains of North Carolina at Appalachian State University.  This past weekend, I had the honor of being a bridesmaid to one of my dear friends I met there.  She was absolutely stunning as a bride (I did take some photos of the occasion; more of those to come later).  The wedding itself was about 30 minutes outside of Boone, home to App State, and my husband and I took the opportunity on the way home to travel a bit on the Blue Ridge Parkway.  I have many wonderful memories of my time at App, traveling this amazing stretch of land that God created, taking my camera out to shoot with friends, while exploring the country.  It was amazing.  I was a little overwhelmed by this trip, as it had been some time since I had been up there.  This particular piece of land was a favorite spot to go, where we could look out over the Blue Ridge mountains and just sit.  I still cannot believe I was this lucky….
